Do I have to be flexible to do yoga?

No! Yoga is for everyone at all fitness levels and will help you improve your flexibility. 

Do I have to be in shape to do yoga?

No! Yoga is for people of all fitness levels. Many yoga poses have modifications.

What do I wear to yoga?

Wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable. Clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended.

What do I bring to class?

The studio has a few mats available, but you are welcome to bring your own. 

Do I need to have a membership to take a class?

Drop-in students are welcome! The drop-in rate is $15 per class. You can purchase class cards as well. 

More Tips

Yoga is practiced barefoot! No shoes are required.

 

Listen to your body. If a pose is painful, do not do it. Modify the pose of find a resting position.

 

Silence your cell phone. This is your time. Enjoy it without distraction!
